  • Wes Caswell

    Wes Caswell—Music Director

Since returning to Laurier in 2014 Wes is loving the opportunity to offer to God, along with friends and family at Laurier, a joyful and united voice in praise and worship to God. Doesn’t even seem like work!

Cheryl, Cydney and Caleb are the people Wes loves most. (That’s wife, daughter and son - by order of age, not intending to show any favouritism…)

  • Pastor Jim Hall

    Pastor Jim Hall

Jim has been a pastor and ministry leader in Edmonton for over 20 years. In addition to pastoring at Laurier Heights Baptist Church, Jim is also the Executive Director of House of Prayer Edmonton, since 2009. Jim is passionate about seeing the local church be a community where people can encounter the love, mercy and compassion of God. He is also deeply committed to the ministry of prayer and helping Christians grow and develop a vibrant experience of prayer, both individually and corporately.

Jim is married to Pam and together they have 2 amazing children, Rebekah and Josiah.

He is a committed long-distance runner and enjoys hiking in the mountains whenever possible.

  • Pastor Carol Henders

Carol joined the Laurier pastoral leadership team in the fall of 2022. She loves studying the Word of God. She is passionate about spiritual formation and seeing people come to experience the love of Jesus as they recognize their true value as people who are made in the image of God.

Carol loves spending quiet weekends with her husband, Russ Johanntges, and their two cats, but also enjoys hosting family dinners when Russ’ adult children come to visit. Carol’s a bit of a tea snob…nothing beats a good cup of Earl Grey! She loves spending time outside in God’s amazing creation.
