What to expect

Visiting a church for the first time—or returning after a while—can feel intimidating. At Laurier Heights Baptist, we want your experience to be peaceful, encouraging, and genuine. Whether you’re joining us in person or online, everything you need to know is right here to help you feel at home and know what to expect.

What to Expect on a Sunday

WARM, RELATIONAL WORSHIP
Our services begin at 10:00 AM and last around 75 minutes. Expect heartfelt worship, thoughtful Bible teaching, and a space to connect with God and others without pressure—just come as you are.

CHILDREN & YOUTH
Your kids are in good hands. We offer welcoming, safe care for infants and preschoolers, and engaging, age-appropriate programming for kids in Kindergarten through Grade 6. Both happen during our worship time, so you can fully experience the service knowing your children are well cared for.

POST-SERVICE CONNECTION
Stay for coffee and conversation! Our foyer becomes a hub of friendly faces and meaningful conversations right after the service—it's a great time to ask questions, meet people, or just relax.

MONTHLY COMMUNION
On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate Communion together—a moment to remember Jesus’ sacrifice. Feel free to observe or participate as you feel led. Pastors are available afterward if you'd like to learn more.

CAN’T JOIN US IN PERSON?

We stream our service online, so you can worship with us wherever you are. Just head over to our Sunday Online page to tune in.
