Christmas is often a busy season filled with family, friends, shopping, food, and parties.  We have designed our worship services to help us stay focused on Jesus throughout the season. 

Come and celebrate!

November 27:  This is the first week of Advent, the beginning of the Christmas season.  It is a time to spiritually prepare to celebrate the coming of Christ into our world.  This reflective service includes Communion and Blessings for Bolivia.

December 4 and 11:  Our brass band will lead us in worship as we sing traditional carols.

December 18:  “The Christmas Story” Our children will lead us in worship through their annual Christmas pageant presented during the morning service (9:30 am) and after our evening Christmas banquet at Elmwood Community Hall. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors!  Tickets for the banquet are available through the church office. Call Ellen at (780) 483-5366

December 21:  “Silent Night” This service, held on the longest night of the year, is designed to help us ‘take a breath’ in the midst of the Christmas busyness, and to focus on hearing God’s still small voice in the midst of the chaos.  Join us for our regular Missional Wednesday dinner (5:30 pm) followed by the service at 7:00 pm.

December 24:  Come celebrate “Awakening the Light” at our candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7:00 pm.

December 25:  This year, Christmas Day falls on a Sunday.  We will be celebrating through our traditional Lessons and Carols service.  Please note the service is at 11:00 am.

January 1: New Year’s Day also falls on Sunday and we will celebrate at 11:00 am.
