The JP Health and Wellness Centre is located at 15210 Stony Plain Road. It is a relational ministry serving the needs of homeless people in Edmonton's west end by helping them find housing, providing support for financial management, storage space and shower/laundry facilities, and offering space to build friendships. Here are some ways you can help on an ongoing basis:
1. Bring some baking & sandwiches to the Centre.
One of the main objectives of JP is building relationships with the people who drop in and it's amazing to sit and chat with them over coffee and goodies! For details contact Sharon at 780-455-1080.
2. Volunteers
Sharon Reid has been actively involved in this ministry for the past year and welcomes volunteers to help out on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 pm.
3. Donations of Household Needs: Currently, there is an urgent request for small household appliances especoally coffee pots and toasters. Contact Sharon Reid if you can donate an item at 780-455-1080.
